Or you can head north (downstream - towards the sea) for historic Tumbulgum village and Stott's Rainforest Island Nature Reserve. Continue coastward to Chinderah Bay, a favourite for fishing, and on through Fingal for a left turn into the sandy beaches at Ukerebagh Island. Along the 60 or so kilometres of sheltered waterways there are riverside pubs, eateries, stores and art galleries to enjoy!
