BOOKINGS & CONDITIONS
To make a booking on "STACEY LEE" or "KRYSTAL", please contact us to check that the dates you prefer are available.
DEPOSIT / CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
To secure your booking just fill in the Reservation Confirmation Form and send it with a $200 Deposit (which becomes part payment of your Hire Fee) to reach our office within 7 days of your initial reservation.
On receipt of your Deposit a Confirmation Letter will be mailed to you.
HIRE FEE BALANCE
The balance of your hire fee is required 14 days prior to departure. If the balance of your Hire Fee is not paid in full by the due date the boat may be opened for re-letting.
NOTE: Christmas, New Year & Easter bookings, the Balance of your Hire Fee is due 30 days in advance.
SECURITY BOND
A Security Bond of $250/$300 (Weekend and Midweek) and $300/$400 (Weekly) is payable on the day of departure.
The Bond will be refunded within 7 days of the completion of your hire, provided no damage or loss to the vessel and accessories has occurred or extra cleaning has been required, LESS fuel & other consumables including dinghy motor hire if applicable.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payment may be made by Cash, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard or Bankcard), Postal Order (or Cheque by prior arrangement).
CANCELLATIONS
If thirty (30) days notice is given – Deposit will be refunded
Thirty (30) to fourteen (14) days notice – Deposit is forfeited, unless the boat is re-booked for the full amount. Fourteen (14) days notice or less – Deposit & Hire Fee Balance are forfeited, unless the boat is re-booked for the full price.
A $50 cancellation / administration fee will apply to all cancellations.
HIRING TIMES
Commence 12.30pm (NSW time) on the first day of your hire. Your houseboat is due back at 9am (NSW time) on the last day of hire.
If you are not able to pick the boat up at the right time please ring us beforehand ! Late returns will be charged at $50 per hour or part thereof.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
We guarantee to do everything possible to have the houseboat ready for you on your agreed date. If a major mechanical problem occurs to prevent your departure all monies will be refunded.
The full amount is not refundable as a consequence of bad weather, early return by you or any cause beyond our control. Travel insurance is recommended as we cannot be held responsible for any other expenses you may incur. The hirer shall have no claim on any account against the management.
MARITIME REGULATIONS
- The Hirer must be 21 years of age or over.
- NO pets, firearms or fireworks are permitted aboard by law.
- The boats are not permitted to travel after sunset or before dawn.
- Passengers must not exceed the number of berths.
- The hirer will obey all instructions & navigational rules & stay within the waters as per Maritime NSW Survey Certificate
- If any malfunction of the boat, motor or accessories, damage or loss of equipment occurs, the hirer will notify the management as soon as possible.
- The hirer will return the boat in as good condition as when taken or pay for any damage, loss or extra cleaning.
FREE CAR-PARKING available at our premises. All care but no responsibility will be taken.
