Wollumbin Biosphere Reserve On Saturday 7 December 2002, environment groups based around the Mount Warning shield volcano hosted an initial public meeting to discuss a proposal for a biosphere reserve in this area. A number of meetings have been held with more planned, to encourage local communities, stakeholders and interest groups to provide input into the nomination and management, to reduce our collective environmental footprint.
